MEET THE BIRDSONG GROUP
Associate Broker/Team Leader
I founded The Birdsong Group to be a dynamic boutique Team based on expert information, integrity and innovation. We offer comprehensive real estate solutions for home buyers, investors and house sellers in the Greater New Orleans area.
I have been active in the real estate arena for 15 years starting as an investor buying and renovating houses. Six years ago, I decided to become a Realtor full time and to build a unique company based on the Team concept and bring a greater degree of professionalism to the Real Estate industry in our area.
I started The Birdsong Group because I believe that we are called to be Expert Advisors in our community and to provide customer satisfaction and service above the rest!
REALTOR, Buyer's Specialist
Michael obtained his real estate license in 2015 and joined The Birdsong Group shortly thereafter in 2016 as a buyer’s specialist. His experience in real estate far predates his license. He has been active in the New Orleans real estate market since 2002 as an investor and landlord. His background as an electrical contractor, renovator, and builder makes him ideally suited for first-time and experienced homebuyers looking for their perfect house or investors looking for their next deal. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Michael moved to New Orleans in 2000 and is intimately familiar with neighborhoods throughout New Orleans. He loves “kicking the tires” on a property and is not afraid to climb into attics and crawl under houses to make sure his customers are getting the right deal. His passion for real estate, commitment to the best interest of his clients, and love of making a deal come together make him an excellent advocate for homebuyers; so let him help you find your next home!

Amy first started working in the housing industry as a Social Worker in 2013, where she matched clients with landlords and secured apartments for at risk clients. This is when she first learned how finding the right place to live can inspire and change lives. In 2017, after witnessing the power in obtaining a stable place to live, Amy transitioned into real estate by investing in property and becoming a landlord, focusing on giving options to those less fortunate. By 2019 Amy obtained her license as a Realtor to continue providing the best housing options possible for her clients and joined The Birdsong Group shortly thereafter. During off hours, you can find Amy indulging in the finest New Orleans made ice cream, or swing dancing to the best jazz in town

REALTOR, Listing Specialist
Arriving as a transplant to New Orleans in 2000, John is now a seasoned resident who has grown to love and appreciate NOLA and the abundance of lagniappe it offers to all. Armed with a BA degree in Philosophy from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama you can expect high standards of integrity and service, slightly peppered with attempted wit.
As a former business owner, John took great pride in and was pleased to assist hundreds of Southeastern Louisiana residents with the remodels of their kitchens and bathrooms. The post-Katrina New Orleans area environment helped to cultivate a desire to “flip” houses, but the lack of knowledge and the daily demands of life simply got in the way. Eventually, after attending a weekend workshop related to real estate investing, John began pursuing his interest in investment activities at the beginning of 2015. While quickly achieving a degree of success in the investment arena, it became obvious that becoming a licensed real estate agent would provide him with additional means to serve the New Orleans area community. John became a Listing Specialist with the Birdsong Realty Group in June of 2016 and is eager to assist with the sale of your home!

She recently became a licensed Realtor in Louisiana and now assists aspiring homeowners with fulfilling their dream of homeownership.
